Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed for following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Consolidation Officer, Nathnagar, District - Sant Kabir Nagar (Respondent no. 2) to decide the Case No. 1367 (Computerized Case No. 202454176577011258) (Ram Pratap Singh and others Vs. Ramanand and others) under Section 9-A(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 pending before him, expeditiously within specified period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. This Court directed the Consolidation Officer, KIhalilabad, Sant Kabir Nagar to send report in the matter. 4. In compliance of the order of this Court dated 4.3.2025, instructions dated 12.3.2025 sent by Consolidation Officer, Nath Nagar, District - Sant Kabir Nagar is already on the record of the writ petition. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the State submitted that the Consolidation Officer, Nath Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar has decided the dispute under Section 9-A(2) of the UP Consolidation of Holdings Act finally vide order dated 12.3.2025, as such the instant petition has become infructuous and should be dismissed. 6.
