ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of mandamus, declaring the inaction of respondents more particularly that of 3rd respondent in not conducting investigation into Cr.No.600 of 2020 dated 09-07- 2020, even after lapse of almost 3 months as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional against the letter and spirit of guarantees under constitution, violative of articles 14 and 21 of constitution of India apart from violative of principles of natural justice and fair play, and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the investigation and to file the charge sheet in the aforesaid FIR forthwith, and to pass...…”
2. None represented for the petitioner.
3. The grievance of petitioner in the present petition is that the delay in the investigation in Crime No.600 of 2020, though the crime is registered about 3 months preceding to filing of the present petition.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.
5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are
directed to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law as expeditiously as possible within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order, if not already filed by this date. No order as to costs.
