HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 30405 of 2025 Court No. - 4 HON'BLE AJIT KUMAR, J.
HON'BLE SWARUPAMA CHATURVEDI, J.
1. The case is called out in the revised round. Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner.
2. Shri Pradeep Kumar Shahi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that this is the second petition by the same petitioner for the same relief claimed. As according to him, petitioner had earlier approached this court by means of writ petition being Writ-C No.17655 of 2025 and the same stood disposed of on 03.07.2025 with a direction to the authorities to dispose of the representation of the petitioner. Liberty was also granted to the petitioner to pursue remedy in the pending second appeal.
3. Looking to the relief clause of this petition wherein mandamus has been paid for disposal of the representation dated 13.05.2025, we find that such relief was already granted to the petitioner.
4. Hence, we are of the view that in the event petitioner's representation has not been decided till date, he should pursue the remedy of contempt for non-compliance of the order of this Court dated 03.07.2025. Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Vijay Kumar Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Atar Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 9 Others .....Respondent(s)
5. Second petition for same cause of action prayed for similar relief which already stood granted to the petitioner is not maintainable in view of Rule 7 Chapter XXII of the Rules of the Court.
6. This petition is accordingly dismissed, however liberty rests with the petitioner to apply for contempt, if so advised.
