Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Meral P.S. Case No. 105 of 2025, for the offences registered under Section 21(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Garhwa. 3. On 14.05.2025 at about 100 A.M., Meral Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a white colour car bearing Registration No. JH03AM 1980 near NH 75 Pillar No. 12, Meral. On search, 1430 bottles of Onerex Cough Syrup of 100 ml each containing codeine was recovered from the said vehicle. Petitioner No.1 is the Driver of the seized vehicle while Petitioner No. 2 is the owner of the seized vehicle. 4. Considering the fact that the commercial quantity of codeine was recovered, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
