Mr. Ajay Sharma, Sr. Advocate with Mr. Tarun Brakta, Advocate, for the applicants/respondents. CMP No.20937 of 2025 Heard counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings. Previously applicant-Pratyush Kant Sharma was being represented in the proceedings by his guardian on account of him being a minor. Present application has been preferred by Sh. Pratyush Kant Sharma stating therein that he has attained the age of majority. The said fact is evident from the matriculation certificate appended along with application, depicting the date of birth as 09.05.2005. From the documents appended along with the present application, it is evident that the applicant has attained the age of majority and has moved the appropriate application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, he is permitted to pursue the present application in his own capacity. In view thereof, present application is allowed and the guardian previously appointed, is discharged from acting as a guardian of applicant in the present proceedings. Power of Attorney on behalf of the applicant stands filed. Application stands disposed of. CMP No.20938 of 2025 No reply is intended to be filed on behalf of the non-applicant. Non-applicant has no objection, if in case the present application is allowed and the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant(Pratyush Kant Sharma). The appeal, in the case at hand, was decided by the Coordinate Bench of this Court on 29.07.2016. Learned counsel for the parties submit that there are no further proceedings pending against the same in the Apex Court. Other than the aforesaid, for the reasons mentioned in the application, application is allowed and amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant(Pratyush Kant Sharma) along with the upto date interest accrued thereupon. The same be remitted in the bank account of the applicant, details whereof have been given in Annexure-A2 appended along with CMP No.20937, subject to proper verification of his identity.
