Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is accused in Session Trial No. 1284 of 2023 (State Vs. Jitendra and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 421 of 2016, under section 147, 148, 149, 332, 353, 504, 506, 307 I.P.C. and 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act, Police Station Vijay Nagar, District Ghaziabad is pending in the Court of learned 9th Additional District Judge, Ghaziabad and no progress till now has been made in the said case. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to the court below to decide the said case as expeditiously as as possible. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the applicant, the court below concerned is directed to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously and preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, provided there is no legal impediment. 4. The application under Section 529 B.N.S.S. is disposed of accordingly.
