Sharma, Additional Advocate General. Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Even though no reply has been filed, however, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 2. The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief: - “to issue a writ of mandamus, appropriate writ, order or direction in nature thereof, directing the respondent department to treat the petitioners as having been appointed in the year 2002 with all consequential benefits for all purposes and intents.” 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issues involved in this writ petition are no longer res-integra and are squarely covered by the decision rendered in Milat Ram & Ors. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors2. The said decision in turn is based upon Satish Kumar & Ors. Vs. State of H.P. Anr3. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners would be content, in case, respondents are directed to consider their cases for redressing the grievances raised by them in this writ petition in terms of above decisions within a time bound schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer. 4. Having regard to above submissions but without examining the merits of the matter, this petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider and decide the cases of the petitioners in light of the aforesaid judgments and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The decision so arrived at, shall be communicated to the petitioners. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
