Heard Sri Amit Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3 and Sri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent no.4. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondent no.2 to conclude the enquiry initiated against respondent no.5 under the provisions of Section 95(1)(g) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that an application supported by affidavit in proper format as contemplated under Rule 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhans and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 was submitted before the respondent no.2, who after being satisfied with the allegation appointed Zila Basic Shiksha Adhikari as enquiry officer by his order dated 20.7.2024. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to get the enquiry completed, as initiated against respondent no.5 under the provisions of Section 95(1)(g) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
