Koduru Village, Anakapalli District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 r/w 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 30.10.2024, on receiving credible information about illegal transportation of Ganja, at 13.3O hours, while Sub-Inspector of police, A Koduru Police Station along with his staff and mediators while conducting vehicle checkup at the outskirts of Varada Village, found Al and A2 in possession of 30 KGs of Ganja worth of Rs.1,50,000/-. Al and A2 were arrested and remanded to J'udiCial Custody On the even date. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was shown as A3 basing on the confessional statement of co- accused. The petitioner was produced basing on the p.T.Warrant on 19.12.2024 and since then he is in judicial custody. 5. Basing on the Confessional statement of co-accused, the case has been registered against the petitioner herein and the petjtjoner hereI-n Was not apprehended at the scene of offence. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to release the Petitl'Oner on bail. 8. Accordingly, the criminal Petition I'S allowed.
