Heard Sri Narendra Kumar Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Indra Mani Kushwaha, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.3- Tehsildar, Tehsil Etmadpur, District Agra, to correct the revenue records in compliance of the order dated 31.7.2001 passed in a revision arising out of the proceedings under Section 33/39 of the U P Land Revenue Act, 1901. The order, compliance of which is being sought, having been passed in the year 2001, the present petition suffers from gross delay/laches. Moreover, in case the petitioner seeks correction of revenue records, it is open to him to invoke appropriate statutory legal remedy. The writ petition would not be entertainable at this stage.
