Heard Sri Harish Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri S P Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents and Sri Sudhir Bharti, learned counsel appearing for the Gram Sabha. Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No.2- Additional Commissioner (Administration 2nd), Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur to decide the appeal case No.184/2024 (Computer Case No.C202405000000184 (Anil vs. Sume Lal and others) under Section 207 of U P Revenue Code, 2006, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to respondent No.2, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that respondent No.2-Additional Commissioner (Administration 2nd), Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur, would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
