ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking following relief:
“to declare the action of the respondents in not releasing the Surrender of Earned Leave of Rs.49,788/-, Encashment of Earned Leave for 204 days for an amount of Rs.7,27,634/-, Composite State and Encashment of Earned Leave for 96 days Successor State for Rs.3,42,416/- totaling to an amount of Rs.11,19,838/- as highly arbitrary, illegal and contrary to Rules and consequently direct the respondents to release an amount of Rs.11,19,838/- in respect of Surrender of Earned Leave and Encashment of Earned Leave along with an interest @ 18% p.a. from the date of due till the date payment and pass such other
order.”
2. Heard Sri M.Kesava Rao, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services - II, appearing for respondents.
3. Petitioner retired from service on 31.03.2024 as Senior Assistant. Petitioner claims that he has not been settled so far the amounts on account of surrender of leave and encashment of earned leave, for total amount of Rs.11,19,838/-. Though
2 CGR, J W.P. No.13655 of 2025 aforesaid amounts are not in dispute, for obvious reasons, the same is not being settled.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents on the other hand placed on record written instructions dated 23.06.2025 inter alia stating that petitioner is entitled for aforesaid amounts, however, as the bills forwarded to the Government for payment are still uncleared, it is taking time for releasing the said amounts and therefore, sought for time to clear the same.
5. In view of aforesaid written instructions, as there is no dispute with respect to the quantum of amount payable to petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents concerned to clear the amounts as claimed in the writ petition within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending
consideration, if any, shall stand closed.
