Heard Sri Pavan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vijay Pratap Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.2 the Sub Divisional Officer (Judicial), Nazibabad, to decide the an application dated 30.9.2024 seeking amendment, in Case No. T202313160501877 [Mohammad Akram Vs. Mohammad Aslam and Others], under Sections 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated time period. The petitioner has stated himself to be the plaintiff in the suit. Counsel for the petitioner states that the amendment application was filed on 30.9.2024 and the application is said to be pending since then. It is submitted that the amendments which are being sought are formal in nature and the delay in disposal of the amendment application is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, by way of the present petition, has sought expeditious disposal of the amendment application. Counsel appearing for the State-respondents has no objection if the amendment application is decided at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that the court/authority concerned would make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid amendment application, in accordance with law, Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Pavan Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : Arun Kumar Pandey, C.S.C.
