1. Heard Mr. Samrath Singh Marhas, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Swajeet Ubeja, learned Panel Lawyer for the respondent No.1 / State. 2. The petitioner has filed this petition praying for following relief:-
“I. Quash the impugned First Information Report No. 06/2021 registered at Police Station Bilha, District Bilaspur against the Petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code; & II. Quash the charge sheet (Annexure P/I) filed by the Police of Police Station Bilha, District Bilaspur against the Petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code in consequence of First Information Report No. 06/21 registered at Police Station Bilha, District Bilaspur before Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bilha, District Bilaspur; & III. Quash the order taking cognizance dated 11.12.2025 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bilha in Criminal Case No. 2233/2024 and quash the consequential criminal proceedings in Case No. 2233/2024 pending before Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bilha, District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh (Annexure P/2) against the Petitioner, in the interest of justice.”

From perusal of the relief prayed for in the present petition, it transpires that the same is a defective one as the counsel for the petitioner has only drafted a vague and sketchy prayer with wrong credentials. 4. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner prays to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh. 3

Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to file petition afresh, subject to depositing a sum of Rs.2,000/- as cost by the petitioner in the Registry of this Court within a period of one week from today, and the same shall be transmitted to the Government School for Visual and Hearing Impaired, Tifra, District- Bilaspur (C.G.). 6. Learned Panel Lawyer appearing for respondents / State is present. 7. Certified copy of the documents annexed in the petition, if any, may be returned back to the counsel for the petitioner after obtaining the photocopy of the same, subject to deposit of the fine amount.
