This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for granting bail to the accused/petitioner namely, Taher Ali, in connection with Hatigon P.S Case No. 29/2025 under Section 69/319(2) of the BNS, 2023. 3. That the brief facts of the case is that one Fatema Begum (Gunu Begum), lodged an FIR before the Paltanbazar Police Station on- 15.11.2024 alleging inter-alia that the petitioner, Tahar Ali, deceitfully took a sum of 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) and 11,000/- (Eleven Thousand) in cash and 45,000/- (forty Five Thousand) only through PhonePey, on the pretext of marrying the informant. Subsequently the accused/ petitioner allegedly established a physical relationship with the informant on multiple occasions in various lodge/hotels. Thereafter, the accused/ petitioner started avoiding her calls and messages. On 02/11/2024, when the complainant attempted to contact him via Facebook and requested repayment of the money, the accused blocked her on all social media platforms, following this, she visited the CRPF camp at Satgaon in search of him but found no trace. Accordingly, upon receipt of the said FIR a case was registered at Paltan Bazar P.S. on 21/12/2024 vide Paltanbazar P.S. Case No. 464/24 U/S- 69/319(2) of the BNS. 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is aged 33 years whereas the alleged victim is 45 years and is a fully matured woman and fully understood. 5. It is further submitted that this case has been lodged by the alleged victim on account of refusal by the petitioner to fulfill her demand for money any further. 6. Having regard to the nature of allegations as well as the fact that the

The accused abovenamed shall be released on bail of Rs. 20,000/- with 2 sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the CJM, Kamrup (M), Guwahati Court. 7. The Bail Application stands disposed off as allowed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
