Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 2. By means of the present application under Section - 529 B.N.S.S., the applicant has sought for a suitable direction to the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-18, Allahabad to expedite the proceedings and to decide the Case No.682 of 2022 (Ramesh Chandra Verma Vs. Vinay Kumar Yadav), under Section 138 of N.I. Act, Police Station- Colonelganj, District- Allahabad (Prayagraj), pending before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-18, Allahabad (Prayagraj), within time stipulated by this Court, which is pending before the aforesaid court. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that aforesaid case is pending since the year 2022 but no substantial progress has been made in the case so far. It was submitted that right of speedy trial is part of fundamental right and thus a direction may be issued to the concerned court to decide the aforesaid case within specific time frame. 4. In view of aforesaid, the court concerned is directed to expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case and to decide the same as early as possible, preferably within a period of six Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Brijesh Kumar, Pravin Kumar Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A.
