Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:23319-DB Court No. - 29 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 4694 of 2025 Petitioner :- Arun Kanaujiya Respondent :- Union Of India And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajesh Tewari Counsel for Respondent :- A.S.G.I.,Gaurav Kumar Chand,Pramod Kumar Rai Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Hon'ble Vipin Chandra Dixit,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pramod Kumar Rai for the respondents. Petitioner's claim for grant of dealership licence has been rejected on the ground that petitioner's wife already has a retail outlet dealership. As per the policy of the respondents, if any member of the family has such dealership, a fresh dealership within the family cannot be accorded. The policy appears to have a definite objective and is otherwise not under challenge. Facts are otherwise undisputed. In such circumstances, denial of petitioner's claim on the ground that petitioner's wife already has a retail outlet dealership, merits no interference. The writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
