3. The applicant has preferred this first bail application under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail as he is arrested in connection with Digitally signed by VIJAY BHARATRAO PEKDE
2 Crime No. 192/2019 registered at Police Station – Manendragarh, District (M.C.B.), (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 420/34 IPC, 4 and 5 of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act.

Prosecution story, in brief, is that complainant Brijram Sahu made a written report alleging therein that in year 2015, the Director and Branch Manager of PICL Multi State Credit Co- operative Society came to Manendragarh and conducted a seminar and ensured that by depositing the amount they would get handsome interest and their amount would be doubled. It was also alleged in the complaint that complainant deposited Rs.4,50,000/- along with other peoples and when the complainant demanded his money in the year 2017, he got assurance to return his money within 06 months but despite repeated demands, the said institution did not return the amount to the complainant. It was also alleged that in the month of December, 2017, the officers and employees fled shutting down the office. Based on this, FIR against three persons namely Sambhunath, Buddh Singh Rana and Ravi-ul-Haq was registered. The only allegation against the present applicant is that he along with co-accused persons committed the said fraud.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the present applicant is neither the Director nor the employee of the
3 society. He is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the crime in question. Learned counsel further submits that as per the final report, there is nothing on record to show any role of the applicant. Learned counsel also submits that the main accused persons have been granted bail by this Court in MCRC Nos.591/2020, 677/2020 and 798/2025 vide
order dated 23.03.2020, 23.03.2020 and 29.01.2025 respectively. Likewise, co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in MCRCA Nos.242/2025 vide order dated 24.02.2025. Therefore, the present applicant may also be extended privilege of regular bail on the same set of evidence.
6. Learned State counsel, however, opposes the bail application.

Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case and further considering the order dated 23.03.2020, 23.03.2020 and 29.01.2025 passed in MCRC Nos.591/2020, 677/2020 and 798/2025, granting regular bail and order dated 24.02.2025 passed in MCRCA No.242/2025 granting anticipatory to accused persons respectively, & further considering that the applicant is in jail since 06.04.2025 and that the trial may take some time, without commenting anything on merit of the case, I am inclined to release the applicant on regular bail.

8. Accordingly, the instant bail application is allowed.
9. It is directed that the Applicant shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court for his appearance before the said Court as and when
directed. Certified copy, as per rules. Sd/-
