The biological father and the paternal uncle of the Petitioner have received validity certificates as belonging to ‘Mannervarlu’ Scheduled Tribe Category. The Petitioner has appeared for an entrance exam. 2. The learned AGP is instructed to state that the Vigilance Cell Inquiry is yet not concluded. The Committee would make an endeavour to decide the claim at the earliest and within two to three months. In view of the above statement and the fact that the Petitioner’s biological father has been granted the Validity Certificate by the Committee, which is still not reopened, it is expected that the Committee would decide the proposal at least within two months since the Petitioner aspires to secure admission to a professional course. 4. In view of the above and considering the law laid down in Maharashtra Adiwasi Thakur Jamat Swarakshan Samiti Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors.; 2023 SCC Online SC 326, let the Committee make an endeavour to decide the claim within two months.
