Heard Sri Dilip Kumar Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Vijay Pratap Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and Sri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel representing the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No. 2, the Additional Commissioner (First), Varanasi Division, Varanasi, to decide an appeal bearing Case No. 691 of 2025 (Computerized Case No. C202514000000691), [Riyazuddin and Others Vs. Shahabuddin @ Munna Khan and Others], under Section 207 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated time period. Petitioner asserts himself to be one of the respondents in the appeal. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition, to point out that although several dates have been fixed, but for some reason or the other, the matter is being adjourned and the delay in disposal of the case is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, by way of the present petition has sought for proceedings to be concluded expeditiously. Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and the counsel for the respondent Gram Sabha have no objection if the proceedings are expedited.
