Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this Writ Petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) That the respondents may kindly be directed for fixation of revised pay and arrears of revision of pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2019 with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of its realization as per Annexure P- 2. (ii) That the direction may kindly be issued to the respondent corporation to pay the enhanced amount i.e. gratuity amount and leave encashment as per the judgment dated 11.01.2024 passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh in CWP No. 4427/2023 titled as Tulsi Ram Vs. HPTDC & Ors. (iii) That the directions may kindly be issued to the respondent Corporation to revise the gratuity (DCRG) and leave encashment and to pay the same alongwith interest @ 9% per annum to the Petitioner w.e.f. due date i.e. 01.07.2019 till the date of its reallization. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:16 (iv) The respondents may also be directed to pay ADA and balance amount of 50% IR with interest @ 9% per annum from the due date and till the date of its realization” 2. The Court stands informed that in a similar case, Hon’ble Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 4427 of 2023, titled Tulsi Ram Vs. HPTDCL a/w connected matters, decided on 11.01.2024, has been pleased to grant six months time to the respondent-Corporation to pay the due and admissible amount to the petitioner. 3. Accordingly, as prayed for, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction that let the due and admissible amount be paid to the petitioner, within a period of four months from today, along- with statutory interest, if any.
