The instant Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner for restoration of Criminal Revision No. 1475 of 2022, which was dismissed for non-compliance of the order dated 12.04.2024. 2. Submission has been made on behalf of the petitioner that on 12.04.2024, the learned counsel was ill and, therefore, could not appear before this Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner was not aware about the fact that there was a peremptory order in the present matter. Later on, he came to know that certain defect(s) pointed out by the office were required to be removed. 3. He further submitted that, since the fact of the removal of defect(s) was not known to the learned counsel, the same could not be removed within stipulated time, and as a result, this revision was dismissed. He also submitted that the petitioner shall be more vigilant in the future while pursuing the present revision. 4. Learned A.P.P. for the State submitted that no cogent reasons have been assigned on behalf of the petitioner for restoration of the revision application. 5. Considering the submission advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, being Cr.M.P.
