HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 34862 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Navin Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent- authority to correct the revenue records consequent to some orders passed in consolidation proceedings. A representation in this regard is stated to have been submitted before the respondent no.3 on 20.02.2018. Counsel for the State-respondents submits that the orders of which enforcement is being sought are stated having been passed on 16.12.2018, the present petition would be grossly barred by delay/laches. It is not disputed that for correction of records pursuant to orders passed in the consolidation proceedings, the petitioner would have to invoke the appropriate statutory legal remedy. The present writ petition seeking the reliefs, as prayed, is not entertainable. The writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to take recourse to the appropriate legal remedy.
