The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is repeatedly calling to the police station by the respondent No.4 to the Puttaparthi Police Station. 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in connection with Crime No.113 of 2024, the petitioner was called to the police station on 03.05.2025 at about 12.00PM and was detained in the police station till 08.00PM. Thereafter, on 07.05.2025 the petitioner was detained in the police station from 01.00PM to 09.00PM. It is submitted that the petitioner is not an accused and he is also not named as an accused Crime No.113 of 2024. 3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the Home on instructions submits that the petitioner was summoned to the police station and his statement was recorded. It is also stated that the petitioner had purchased a JIO SIM about 6 or 7 years back. Thereafter, the said SIM was given to his brother-in-law. After demise of his brother-in-law the said SIM was used by the petitioner’s sister, who is now residing in Singapore. The petitioner is issued notice under Section 94 of BNSS calling upon the petitioner to furnish the information about the details of JIO SIM. 4. Considering the submissions, there shall be a direction to the respondent No.4 not to disturb the peace of the petitioner and not to trouble the petitioner. It is left open to the respondents to conduct investigation in Crime No.113 of 2024, however, the petitioner’s peace shall not be disturbed without following due process of law. 5. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed off. No costs. 6.
