K.Sanjayan, For Contemnor(s): Mr.Muralivinoth, Standing Counsel ORDER This Contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for wanton and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.17464 of 2021 dated 02.01.2024. 2. A memo has been filed by the respondents stating the revised pension arrears payable to the petitioner in the event of his making a part of the contribution of Rs.2,86,038/- would be Rs.3,48,551/-. The total contribution ought to have been made by the petitioner is Rs.6,34,489/-. Even if the above pension arrears of Rs.3,48,551/- (in the event of the mutual contribution) is made, the balance to be recovered from the petitioner towards his pension contribution would be Rs.2,86,038/-. Only after paying the balance sum of Rs.2,86,038/-, the petitioner can expect the respondent to make the enhanced pension arrears in cash without any deduction from 01.11.2025.
