Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Godda (Town) P.S. Case No. 100 of 2025 (N.D.P.S. Case No.05 of 2025), for the offences registered under Sections 22, 25, 27A & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Godda. On 08.06.2025, Godda police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons from the place near Gorhighat. On search, about 1 gram of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of small quantity. It was further submitted that on the basis of confession of the co-accused 26 grams of brown sugar was recovered from his house. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with Godda (Town) P.S.
