THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:10637 WP No. 6417 of 2025 CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: "a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ seeking a directing to the Respondent No.2 to consider and grant permission for Petitioner to establish a Xerox and computer shop in or around the premises of Devanahalli Taluk Office, as requested in representation dated 26.12.2024, vide ANNEXURE-C. b) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ seeking a direction to the Respondent No.3 to consider and grant permission for Petitioner to establish a Xerox and computer shop in or around the premises of Devanahalli Taluk Office, as requested in representation dated 26.12.2024, vide ANNEXURE-C1. c) Pass any such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court deem fit under the fact and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The petitioner is said to have been granted a shop in the precincts of Devanahalli Taluk Office. Now, all the shops that were in the precincts of Devanahalli Taluk Office have been removed and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to consider his representation for - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:10637 WP No. 6417 of 2025 restoration of the shop that was in the precincts of the Taluk office. The petitioner is a physically handicapped candidate. 3. The learned Additional Government Advocate would submit that there were about 50 shops in the precincts, which had generated certain menace and therefore, all the shops are removed and other shops owners are shooting from the shoulders of the petitioner, which the learned counsel for the petitioner disputes. Be that as it may. 4. The learned AGA would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the representation of the petitioner would merit consideration and appropriate orders would be passed. 5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition directing the respondent - State to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass necessary orders, in accordance with law, in accordance with circular extant guidelines that are subsisting on this subject, within eight - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC:10637 WP No. 6417 of 2025 weeks, from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, if not earlier. 6.
