Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to issue schedule caste certificate to the petitioner. 3. Case of the petitioner is that petitioner has filed application dated 23.3.2017, but the same has not been decided till date. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submitted that petitioner may file a fresh application in accordance with with rules. In case any such application is filed, the same shall be decided at the earliest. 5. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for issuance of schedule caste certificate in accordance with rules. In case, any such application is filed, the same shall be decided at the earliest maximum within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merits. It is upon respondents to pass order after considering the relevant Rules as well as facts of the case. October 13, 2025 A.P.
