HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 35710 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Om Prakash Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No.2, the Board of Revenue U.P., Allahabad to decide Revision No.2150 of 2019 (Bhulau Vs. Additional Commissioner (Administration), Varanasi Mandal Varanasi and others), arising out of proceedings under Section 41 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Board of Revenue U.P., Allahabad to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Counsel for the State-respondents has no objection to the prayer. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 2, the Board of Revenue U.P., Allahabad, would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
