Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner, namely- Inamul Hoque has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Bongaigaon P.S. Case No.98/2025, under Sections 302(2)/317(2)/317(4)/112 of the BNS, 2023 r/w Section 23 of the Petroleum Act. 3. Earlier, his bail application was rejected by this Court. Today, the petitioner has submitted that he has completed 88 days of detention and only two days left for expiry of the statutory period of detention. 4. The petitioner also submits that his grandmother has died and he is to attend some rituals and rights to that effect. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. Considering the long period of detention, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 7. The petitioner Inamul Hoque who was arrested in connection with Bongaigaon P.S. Case No.98/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹50,000/- with surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bongaigaon.
