Heard Sri Sanjay Kumar Prajapati, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Gaurav Kumar Chaturvedi, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.4. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No.2- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur to decide Case No.07792/2019 (Computer Case No.T201914360107792 (Anita Devi vs. Nagar Palika Shahganj) under Section 38 (1) of the U P Revenue Code, 2006, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to respondent No.2, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that No.2-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur, would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of three months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
