Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file the fresh application for grant of licence of Pistol before the concerned respondents-authorities/Competent Authority and in-turn they be directed to consider and decide the same within stipulated time frame. 2. Learned State Counsel submits that she is having no objection to the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner. 3. In view of the above submissions, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file the fresh application for grant of licence of the Pistol before the concerned respondents-authorities/competent authority. On making of such application, concerned respondents-authorities/competent authority shall consider and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with the relevant rules and law. CC as per rules.
