The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the District Magistrate, Jhansi, respondent no.2, to renew the firearm licence of the petitioner pending before him. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, on the basis of instructions received, states that said application of the petitioner has been rejected by the order of the respondent no.2 dated 24.9.2025. Petitioner has a remedy of appeal against the aforesaid order dated 24.9.2025. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition has become infructuous. It is, consequently, dismissed.
