Also heard Mr. S.S Roy, learned Central Government counsel. Petitioners aggrieved by non-consideration for application for compassionate appointment by the respondent authorities. Mr. S.S Roy, learned Central Government counsel referring to Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunal’s Act, 1985, submits that the matters for recruitment and concerning recruitment to any civil post under the union are to be filed before the Central Administrative Tribunal. Since, the petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment under the Office of the Chief Post Master General, Assam Circle, the matter is covered under Section 14 and therefore, the petitioner is required to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal, in the first instance. On such objections, Ms. S.S Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that she would like to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.
