Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an accused in this case. Although, the bank accounts of the other co-accused have been defrozen. In the meantime, the petitioner’s application for defreezing of his bank account filed on 24.04.2025 has been kept pending. The next date has been fixed as 17.05.2025, although the hearing has already been concluded. As an application has been made for expeditious disposal of a prayer, no prejudice will be caused to anyone if an order is passed without causing service of notice upon the other side. It appears that the petitioner’s prayer for defreezing his bank account is pending since long. In view of the above, let the Trial Court decide the issue of defreezing of the bank account of the petitioner in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably on the next date fixed or within at least four weeks from the next date fixed for hearing. With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
