The proceedings arise out of matrimonial dispute between the parties. Smt. Saraswati Rai, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. Archana Singh, learned counsel holding brief of Ms. Shreya Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4 submit that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement through mediation. The settlement between the parties has been reduced to writing and a copy thereof has been sent by the Mediation Centre of this Court. The parties do not wish to press the criminal prosecution. In light of the aforesaid settlement, the F.I.R. is quashed. The writ petition is allowed to the extent indicated above.
