By order dated 22nd September 2025, this Court has recorded the statement of the learned advocate for the applicant, who submitted that the original complainant and the original accused have expired, and the learned advocate for the respondent doesn’t dispute that the respondent/accused has died. Accordingly, he tendered across the bar a Xerox copy of the death certificate of the complainant, which was taken on record, and he sought further time to produce a certified copy; however, he could not procure the same. As per the direction, the concerned officer of the office obtained a copy of the death certificate from the Government website civil registration system (CRS). The said copy is taken on record and tallied with the xerox copy produced by the learned advocate for the applicant. Thus, it is evident that the original complainant/applicant herein, Uttam Vishwanth Devkar, expired on 05th March 2020; as such, the application is abated and disposed of. (ABHAY J. MANTRI, J.)
