HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 35893 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Vijay Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking to assail an order dated 30.07.2025 passed by the respondent no.2, Additional Commissioner (Administration), Agra Region, Agra in Case No. 2009 of 2025 (computerized case no.C202501000002009), Rajendra Singh vs. Omvir and others, under Section 207 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 to the extent the application seeking stay of the order against which the appeal has been preferred, has been rejected. The reason assigned by the appellate court to reject the stay application is that the appellant (petitioner herein) could not show any reason for which the stay could have been granted. A copy of the stay application which has been appended to the writ petition, also does not indicate any ground on the basis of which stay was sought. Counsel for the petitioner has also not been able to show any material from the record on the basis of which the interim relief was sought before the court below. The order impugned rejecting the stay application therefore cannot be said to suffer from any infirmity. Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Vijay Kumar Mishra Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Rajendra Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 8 Others .....Respondent(s) Counsel for the petitioner at this stage submits that he does not wish to press the petition and that the petitioner would pursue his remedy for appropriate relief in the pending appeal. The petition is accordingly disposed of. October 15, 2025 Imroz WRIC No. 35893 of 2025 2 (Dr. Yogendra Kumar Srivastava,J.)
