While placing on record copy of office order dated 18.6.2025 issued under the signature of Engineer in Chief, HPPWD, Shimla, Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, states that mandate contained in the judgment stands duly complied with. Careful perusal of aforesaid office order, which is taken on record, reveals that respondents after having considered case of the petitioner in light of Surajmani’s case, have granted work charge status on completion of eight years continuous service on notional basis.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that work charge status has been conferred, but pay fixation is yet to be done. Learned Additional Advocate General undertakes to ensure that pay fixation of the petitioner, if not already done, is done expeditiously, preferably, within four weeks.
Consequently, in view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and as such, same are closed.
