Shahidur Rahman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents appearing through video conferencing. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents to pay/refund the GST liability and in this respect, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 23-06-2025 to the Chief Engineer, PWD, Government of Manipur and a reminder dated 28-07-2025 in this regard. It is submitted that the representation and the reminder are pending with the Chief Engineer, PWD, Government of Manipur. [3] Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, submits that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the respondents, specially, Chief Engineer, PWD, Government of Manipur to dispose of the representation dated 23-06-2025 and a reminder dated 28- 07-2025 by a speaking order within a stipulated period. WP(C) No. 714 of 2025 [4] Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, has no objection in issuing an innocuous order. [5] Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chief Engineer, PWD, Government of Manipur to consider and pass an appropriate order to the representation dated 23- 06-2025 and a reminder dated 28-07-2025 submitted by the petitioner within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. [6] It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case. [7] The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
