HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 15392 of 2025 Court No. - 52 HON'BLE MRS. MANJU RANI CHAUHAN, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State, Sri Abhishek Srivastava, learned counsel for respondent no.2, Sri Satwik Chaudhary, learned Advocate holding brief of Sri Adarsh Bhushan, learned counsel for respondent no. 3, and perused the record. The petitioner has preferred instant writ petition challenging his suspension order dated 23.06.2023 passed by respondent no. 3 and for a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to conclude the disciplinary proceedings in pursuance of charge-sheet dated 25.07.2023 within some stipulated period. At the very outset, Mr. Abhishek Srivastava, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that disciplinary proceedings shall be concluded within two months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for no reason, the suspension order has been prolonged and the disciplinary proceedings have been pending since 2023 and nothing has been done as yet. In view of the above, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. Thus, a direction is issued upon the respondent no. 2 to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within two months. In case the disciplinary proceedings are not concluded within the stipulated period, the suspension shall be kept in abeyance. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
