Petitioner claims to have filed a second appeal before respondent no.2 i.e. State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee/Chief Secretary, Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow against the order dated 30.08.2023, whereby his appeal against the cancellation of caste certificate has been dismissed. Grievance is that the aforesaid second appeal is stated to be pending since 14.10.2024 and no order has been passed on it till date. 2. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's pending second appeal before respondent no.2 shall be examined and decided, in accordance with law, expeditiously. 3. In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide petitioner's aforementioned second appeal, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
