The petitioner, namely, Rahman Ali, son of Mahasen Ali, resident of Village-Tangabari, Police Station-Dudhnoi, District-Goalpara, Assam has filed this application on 27.09.2024 under Section 483 BNSS, seeking bail in Special (POCSO) Case No. 73/2024 arising out of Dudhnoi P.S. Case No. 35/2024 under Sections 376(D) IPC read with Sections 6/14/15 of the POCSO Act, 2012, read with Section 67(B) of the IT Act, 2000, corresponding to G.R. No.430/2024 in which, he was arrested on 06.05.2024 and is in custody since then, wherein, charge was framed under Sections 376(D) IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012, read with Section 67(B) of the IT Act, 2000 against the petitioner and two other accused persons of the case. 3. On instruction of the petitioner, named above, Mr. M. Rana, learned counsel is not pressing this bail application, to which Mr. K. K. Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam and Ms. M.K. Brown, learned Amicus Curiae for the respondent No.2/informant have no objection. 4. Accordingly, this bail application, being not pressed, stands dismissed. 5. The assistance rendered by Ms. M.K. Brown, learned Amicus Curiae in adjudicating this case is highly solicited.
