BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MICHAEL ZOTHANKHUMA ORDER Date : 04.04.2025
No one appears for the petitioners on call, while Ms. S. Kemprai, learned counsel appears for the respondent Nos. 3, 4 & 5. It is also noticed that the petitioners have not been represented on the last two Court dates also. The Lawazima Court proceeding dated 02.05.2023 shows that the
Page No.# 2/2 petitioners had been directed to take fresh steps for service of notice upon the respondent Nos. 25, 26, 44 & 45 by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process. The fact that the same was not done is recorded in the subsequent Lawazima Court orders dated 28.06.2024, 13.08.2024, 02.09.2024, 03.09.2024 and 03.04.2025. Further, the Lawazima Court proceedings show that the petitioners had not been represented before the Lawazima Court on the dates mentioned above. On considering the above, it appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution.
