By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner wants a direction to the respondent no. 2 to change the Block Level Officer namely the respondent no. 5 for a fair revision of voter list of village Dhulliya, Vikas Khand Nigohi, Shahjahanpur for the reason the brother-in-law of respondent no. 5 would be a candidate in the next Panchayat elections scheduled to be held in the year 2026. Thus, he pleads for fairness in preparation of voter list. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2 raising the plea and request for change of Block Level Officer within a period of two weeks along with the certified copy of this order and if he does so, the same shall be considered and dispose of within a further period of one month by means of reasoned and speaking order.
