Earlier, this court by an order dated 08.01.2025 issued a direction directing the respondent to pay interim maintenance of Rs.10,000/- to the 2 nd petitioner from the date of order and further directed him to pay arrears to the 2 nd petitioner at the rate of Rs.6000/- per month calculated from the date of petition before the trial court till date. But, he failed to pay any amount to the petitioners as per the direction of this court. Hence, the petitioners have preferred this Contempt Petition to punish the respondent. 3. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel for petitioners and respondent appeared. The learned counsel for petitioners submitted that as on date, the respondent has not complied the conditional order directing him to pay interim maintenance of Rs.10,000/- as directed by this court. Therefore, liberty is granted to the petitioners to secure the accused through the jurisdictional police as per manner known to law.
