This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Sri Dhiraj Das, seeking regular bail in connection with Geetanagar P.S. Case No. 67/2025 under Sections 117(2)/296/351(3)/75(2)/76 of BNS, 2023. Page No.# 2/2 3. The case arose out of FIR dated 30.08.2025, the gist of allegations emerging therefrom is that in the back drop of relationship with the accused with promise of marriage, the accused badly assaulted the informant causing injuries. 4. The case diary has been received along with the injury report. The injury report indicates that bruises and abrasions but injuries are categorized as simple caused by blunt object. The length of detention is also kept in mind. 5. Accordingly, the accused-petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail in connection with Geetanagar P.S. Case No. 67/2025 under Section 117(2)/296/351(3)/75(2)/76 of BNS, 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- with one suitable surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned concerned Court CJM, Kamrup(M). 6. The direction for bail is further subject to the conditions: (a) That the accused person shall co-operate with remaining investigation; (b) That the accused person shall not hamper or tamper with evidence; and (c) That the accused person shall not harass and threatened or cause to the informant and family. 7. Violation or breach of any condition(s) shall entail cancellation of bail. 8. With the above observations, this bail petition stands allowed and disposed of accordingly. 9.
