Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Brijendra Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the opposite parties no. 1 & 2, Sri Shanker Lal, learned counsel for the opposite parties no. 3 & 4 and perused the record. Instant writ petition has been filed with the following relief :- "a. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to make payment of full amount of gratuity to the petitioners i.e. maximum ceiling of Rs. 10.00 lakhs (those who retired from the service after 10.05.2010) and the maximum ceiling of Rs. 20.00 lakhs (those who retired from the service after 29.03.2018) along with interest with effect from the date of retirement from services up till the date of actual payment forthwith." After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have submitted a representation on 21- 06-2025 before the opposite party no. 2/Milk Commissioner, U.P., Lucknow/Registrar, Milk Cooperative Societies, Lucknow and the same is pending consideration. He further submits that the interest of justice would be sub-served if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the opposite party no. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated period of time, as may be fixed by this court. Learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties have no Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, Akshat Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Shanker Lal Om Narayan Tiwari And 10 Others .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case, the opposite party no. 2/Milk Commissioner, U.P., Lucknow/Registrar, Milk Cooperative Societies, Lucknow, is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners dated 21-06-2025 within a period of two months, in accordance with law, from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
