Heard Sri Vikas Verma, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Anil Kumar Kushwaha, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State, Sri Mohan Singh, the learned counsel for the opposite party no.1/Gaon Sabha and perused the records. 2. By means of the instant petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India the petitioners have prayed for issuance of a direction to the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, Tanda Ambedkar Nagar for expeditious disposal of Original Suit No.258 of 2016: Seetaram and another Vs. Gram Panchayat Rudi and another which is pending before learned trial court since 10.05.2016. 3. The aforesaid suit was filed by the petitioners praying for perpetual injunction against Gram Panchayat and the State of U.P. The defendants in the suit have not filed any reply till date. 4. A perusal of the order sheet of trial court indicates that on numerous occasions the suit has been adjourned without assigning any reason. 5. Expeditious disposal of suit is necessary in the interest of justice and repetitively adjourning the suit without assigning any reason Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Vikas Verma Counsel for Respondent(s) : Mohan Singh, C.S.C. Seetaram And Another .....Petitioner(s) Gram Panchayat Rudi (Jallapur Tappa Newri) Thru. Pradhan Ambedkar Nagar And Another .....Respondent(s) cannot be appreciated. 6. Accordingly, petition is allowed and a direction is issued to learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, Tanda Ambedkar Nagar to decide the Original Suit No.258 of 2016: Seetaram and another Vs. Gram Panchayat Rudi and another expeditiously in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties and by fixing dates at short intervals. October 17, 2025 Ram.
