Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 2. This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed by the petitioner, namely, Simian Roy, apprehending arrest in connection with Ratabari Page No.# 2/3 P.S. Case No. 214/2024 registered u/s 87 of BNS, 2023. 3. The case arose out of an ejahar dated 02.04.2025 lodged by the brother of the victim who stated to be aged 16 years is that after going to watch puja, one boy abducted her sister and confined her. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the meantime, charge-sheet has been submitted showing the petitioner absconder. 5. I have also heard the learned Additional Public prosecutor, Assam. 6. I have perused the relevant documents including the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 BNSS before the learned JMFC, Karimganj. Though her age is indicated as 16 years but the contents of the said statement reveals prima facie love affair and elopement. 7. Accordingly, it is provided that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, named above, in connection with above mentioned case, they shall be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- with a suitable surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 8. The direction for pre-arrest bail is subject to the conditions that the petitioners: (a) Shall be available for trial; (b) Shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence of the case. 9.
